As a founder of new company, or even a professional purchaser in company, you should always face the challenge to get good suppliers to keep your supply chain are safe and stable, right?

Here just share some of my experience for your reference, if it can give you some help.

If you don’t set any branch / purchasing representative in China, then please find a trusted sourcing agent in China to help with your supply chain management.

You just collect all of the request from your production department / tech department, or you can invite your tech department together, to create your inquiry.

The following is to contact with the sourcing agent in China, ask them to source the corresponding products. If you’re professional on all of the details, congratulation! If not, please ask your tech guy to be involved which i recommend you can do like this, to save time & the lead time of sourcing.

Once you get the suppliers recommended from sourcing agent, please determine the good one and make sure they’re qualified for your project / products.

Then we can go to the samples / prototype process if it’s necessary, which is quite important for your project starting.

If the samples / prototypes get your approval, then congratulate you are on the way of success! You can go ahead to prepare your official order. Sourcing agent will help with you for all of the order organization including logistics.

As for the technique communication & quality controlling during order proceeding, it’s good time for sourcing agent to show their professional skills.
